An established practice in North York providing neuroscience-based psychological assessment, neurofeedback, and psychotherapy to clients across the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario — as well as clients from other provinces and outside Canada who seek APC's specialized services. Evidence-driven care for lasting change.
Questions? Ask Us.Toronto is Applied Psychology Centre's original location. Founded in 1992, the practice has served clients here for more than three decades. Many former clients now return with their own children — and, in some cases, grandchildren — and the practice continues to receive referrals from healthcare professionals and former clients alike.
From our North York office on Bayview Avenue, we work with students navigating academic challenges, professionals managing workplace stress, athletes pursuing peak performance, and executives seeking a competitive cognitive edge — drawing clients from across the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, as well as other provinces and outside Canada, for APC's specialized assessment and treatment services.
Our Toronto clinic is a fully equipped, high-volume practice — not a satellite office. Care begins with a targeted or comprehensive assessment, which may include psychological testing and quantitative EEG (qEEG) where appropriate. The findings inform an individualized plan that may include neurofeedback, self-regulation training, behavioural or lifestyle strategies, coaching, and psychotherapy when additional support is needed to understand or carry out changes.
Care begins with assessment. The full range of Applied Psychology Centre services is available at our North York clinic, each one grounded in neuroscience and tailored to what your assessment reveals.
Comprehensive psychoeducational, neuropsychological, and diagnostic assessments for learning disabilities, ADHD, giftedness, and more — for children, adolescents, and adults.
Quantitative EEG-guided neurofeedback training to optimize brain function, reduce symptoms of anxiety, ADHD, concussion, and trauma, and enhance cognitive performance.
Evidence-based psychotherapy addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions — integrating cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic, and neuroscience-informed approaches.
Structured programs combining biofeedback, cognitive strategies, and self-regulation techniques to help you manage chronic stress, burnout, and physiological arousal.
Targeted interventions to strengthen executive function, emotional regulation, and intrinsic motivation — essential for students, athletes, and professionals alike.
