Questions? Ask Us.The Applied Psychology Centre is proud to call Kingston home. We are honoured to serve the diverse communities of Kingston, Frontenac, and Lennox & Addington — from Queen's University students navigating the pressures of academic life, to CFB Kingston military families and veterans seeking specialized psychological support, to the dedicated healthcare and correctional services professionals who form the backbone of our region. Our doors are open to anyone seeking evidence-based psychological care in a warm, confidential, and supportive environment. Whatever brings you to us, you'll find a practice committed to understanding your unique needs and helping you move forward.
APC established its Kingston clinic, in part, to better serve the growing number of clients travelling to our Toronto clinic from southeastern Ontario. Both locations operate within the same overall clinical model and service framework, so clients receive the same assessment-based, individualized approach at either one.
Clients also attend the Kingston clinic from the Toronto area, other parts of Ontario, other provinces, and outside Canada. Some enjoy attending in Kingston when their schedules permit, drawn by its atmosphere, accessibility, and the chance to spend time in the city between appointments — and its location between Toronto and Montreal makes it convenient for clients travelling from either direction.
From specialized assessment to cutting-edge neurofeedback, our Kingston clinic offers a full spectrum of evidence-based psychological services tailored to your needs.
Care begins with a targeted or comprehensive assessment, which may include psychological testing and quantitative EEG (qEEG) where appropriate. The findings inform an individualized plan that may include neurofeedback, self-regulation training, behavioural or lifestyle strategies, coaching, and psychotherapy when additional support is needed to understand or carry out changes.
Our Kingston clinic offers specialized assessment and treatment for Functional Neurological Disorders — a distinguishing specialty combining neuropsychological expertise with compassionate, individualized care.
